2015 Buick Verano, the compact sedan from Buick is young and heart and high on features. Lets take a look at the possible changes as the new vehicle that was launched in 2011 is to see a refresh soon…
2015 Buick Verano exterior redesign
2015 Buick Verano is a compact sedan, and it looks like one. The car in its current form will get minor updates as the body is new and is not due for a generation change any soon. The well built body is superbly insulated, with acoustic laminated glass, triple door seals & penta-layered roof liner. The ride is firm and well planted on the road. There are 3 ventiports on either side of the hood, although they look pretty vestigial without the spark of a aero engine. The ventiports were seen in a custom designed Buick which mimicked an aircraft engine, and showed a fake spark, each individually coordinated to a cylinder in the engine (1949). Anyhow, the faked ventiports look nice on the Verano today as they did in those days. Coming to the rear, the tail lamp cluster is highlighted by chrome strips running wide, rising from middle of the boot to sideways, giving it the old Buick hallmark tail lamp shape. The 2015 Verano rides on specially designed 18 inch forged alloy wheels, and there is a dual exhaust muffler at the back. Entry in the car is passive with key in the pocket and push button start (option).
2015 Buick Verano interior and comforts
2015 Buick Verano is a spacious car inside, the interiors are built to last and quite interesting in shapes and how metal is used with wood garnish. Elegant and organic lines and shapes flow over the dash on on the door side panels giving a upmarket touch to the vehicle. The HVAC vents are designed uniquely and unlike any other car. The central console houses a seamlessly running climate control unit, an audio system and the central display that handles Bluetooth, audio, voice and phone features that connect through the steering mounted controls. Additions expected in 2015 are options for new fabric choices and the display getting bigger touchscreen system. The seats are comfortable and provide good support, there is not much to take home on the storage and stowage front but you could keep a bottle and a mug here and there. The adjustable seats and steering are heated along with the outside mirrors. Large C pillars make parking a challenge but there is parking assistance and rear camera that make it a much easier job. The car also comes loaded with a lot of safety features than just the standard airbags. 10 airbags, BLIS and forward collision alert, lane departure warning and cross traffic alert are features that are available.
2015 Buick Verano Engine/Transmission
2015 Buick Verano is powered bya standard 2.4L DOHC engine in L4 configuration, making 180 hp and 171 lb-ft torque. This engine is mated to a 6 speed auto transmission Also available is a 2.0 liter ecotech engine that makes 250 HP and 260 lb-ft. There is an option to go with a 6 speed manual transmission with the 2.0 liter engine if you do not want the 6 speed auto.
