2015 GMC Yukon redesign
2015 GMC Yukon outer body looks very fresh compared to the older version, the nice grille with the bold logo which has always been there, looks better and classier. The bold face is aided in looks by slightly swept back headlamps that now have better daytime running lamps and low beam projectors/high beam reflectors. With clean edges and corners rounded off, the car is designed to be aerodynamic despite the blunt design. The chrome grille surround looks well balanced with the inserts. 2015 GMC Yukon rides on 18 and 20 inches brushed aluminum alloy wheels. Up at the back, the rear wiper and washer system is hidden to reduce wind drag. The rear lift gate on the car is programmable to adjust height settings. Liftgate glass can be opened separately for easy access to smaller things. Safety wise the car is loaded with a host of features to keep everyone inside safe. There is a forward collision alert system, parking assist, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warn, lane change and side blind zone alert and the airbags are dual stage (front) with front center airbag. The strong SUV is built with reinforced steel that makes it steel safety cage quite strong. For security of the SUV, glass break sensors ultrasonic motion sensors, inclination sensor and a high pitch siren protect it from thieves and goons. Overall a well designed, safe and secure SUV.
2015 Vehicle interior changes
2015 GMC Yukon is also a good design inside, the interiors and seats are comfortable with enough space for the occupants along with their personal cargo. The 8 inch touchscreen handles Bluetooth, hands-free, audio, navigation, USB and SD cards amongst notable features. The SUV has a 4.2 inch driver info center in the odo-console that displays audio, phone and navigation functions. The steering mounted buttons pass commands to the central console. The vehicle has key less entry and push start. The insides of the SUV are well built and there are a whole lot of features including a Bose sound system. The acoustic laminated windscreen and front door windows help make the cabin very quiet on the road. Comfort is enhanced by the three zone climate control and a heated steering wheel. The second row on the car have power release fold and tumble which is a segment exclusive feature. The center console can even house a small laptop due to it’s large size and convenient design. Overall a very nice interior you would love to spend your time driving around. The central touchscreen rises up and gives way to a hidden cavity storage that can charge your devices with the USB port in there.
2015 GMC Yukon Engine/Transmission
2015 GMC Yukon is powered by 5.3 L EcoTec3 V8 engine housing a 150amp alternator and pushing out 355 hp@ 5600 rpm and 383 lb-ft torque @4100 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6 speed auto transmission and the SUV comes with rear wheel or all wheel drive system.
The vehicle is available and prices are on the website, depending upon the trim you can get it starting at MSRP of US $ 46,335. The denali and XL are priced higher up.
