2015 Land Rover LR4, the luxury 7 seat SUV is all you need while going off the road. While on the road, it still looks hot enough for a drive around the city. Expected changes to the 2015 Land Rover LR4 are not major while you look at the vehicle from outside but may include various improvements and enhancements under the hood. Read on…
2015 Land Rover LR4 redesign
Changes to the Land Rover LR4 are expected to be a minor updates cosmetically, the squarish yet sophisticated vehicle derives it’s design language from it’s original roots. This is one of the few brands which has continued to feature it’s original design language, and it does not disappoint. The front looks simple yet stylish with square lamps hiding ring and curved DRLs, projectors and the signature grille. The bumper looks well prepared for an offroad adventure with fog lamps mounted high and black matte finish rounded off to meet the front skid plate that protects the engine/radiator housing from lower impacts. The underside is free of hanging gear and makes a clean sweep for a worry free off the road drive. The sides of the vehicle are simple and functional, add the available side steps and you get a loaded look, mount the roof rails (option) and load up your favorite gear on loading braces, which would also save up cargo space inside. The car rides on 19 inches alloy wheels and their design/spokes depend on which trim you pick. Options and packages include xenon headlamps, power washers, power fold mirror and passive entry system. Coming at the back, the simple design inspired confidence while giving a clear view of the back due to absence of a spare on the tailgate. The tailgate is a 2 piece system with the lower lip dropping out down to extend the cargo bed and the air suspension can be lowered too, enabling a lower height for comfortable loading.
2015 Land Rover LR4 comforts
2015 Land Rover LR4 is a very comforting SUV from inside, The slim seats are designed to leave a lot more room in the cabin while being quite comfortable. Seats are heated and adjustable, the middle second row seat is well padded too, although it’s best used by a teenager/child. The third row seats are captain style and swivel out headrests add to the comfort. Elegant dashboard up at front houses the central touch screen infotainment system. The touchscreen has multiple features related to the optional surround camera package, Bluetooth pairing, navigation, rear screen DVD system and voice command which connects to the steering mounted controls along with phone volume and others. Climate control is multi zone and very effective. The air suspension is height adjustable, with controls on the central console to raise and lower height depending upon terrain. 4WD system is adaptive for different weather and terrain conditions. An analog clock beautifully fills up the center part of the touchscreen hard buttons. Few of the notable features include 825 watt 17 speaker Meridian audio system, single disc in dash CD/DVD, sub-woofer, interior mood lighting and a host of leather customization options. Overall a very comfortable and premium interior with enough USB ports, charging points and stowage space.
