2015 Lincoln Navigator, the big luxury SUV is sure to catch eyes when it drives down any road. 2015 Lincoln Navigator is out and has settled all rumors on how it will look and what equipment it will carry. Let’s take a look at the brand new 2015 Lincoln Navigator…
2015 Lincoln Navigator chassis, body & exterior redesign
2015 Lincoln Navigator is based on the 3rd generation that started it’s journey in 2007. Although the body is getting long in the tooth, it might still be couple of revisions before a new generation is unveiled. The current Navigator chassis and body is based on the Ford Expedition, with Ford announcing that the newer generation will be showcased sometime in 2016 and produced in 2017. The current 2015 Lincoln Navigator has got a new Durango like rear tail lamp cluster, there is a new fresh looking grille. The rear tail lamp cluster is LED based, and the front gets LED DRLs along with HID headlamps with curved highlights which look really good on this car. Standard 20 inch wheels adorn the new Lincoln Navigator instead of the 18 inch which were standard on the outgoing model. Chrome surround on the grille along with Chrome strip running in the bumper make for a great looking front. The hood is large and steps up in two stages from sides to the middle, giving the vehicle a heavy look. The side profile of this SUV look large, well balanced and pleasing with a clean, clutter free flow. One can turn the car into sleeker and different looking machine just by going in for a dual tone look. Painting or masking the lower part and/or roof with vinyl will bring out a different looking vehicle altogether.
2015 Lincoln Navigator interior and comforts
2015 Lincoln Navigator is large, spacious and feature loaded SUV with good built quality and a good design. MyLincoln touch with sync is now standard on the SUV and an 8 inch central console which is a touchscreen system and handles standard functions like audio, Bluetooth, voice commands and navigation. The push button start, key-less entry and rear view camera are the standard features promised on the new 2915 model. A blind spot warning feature will be added as an option along with cross traffic alert. The sub 8K sales of the Navigator are a pain for Ford since 2009 as sales have been falling from a 20-30K numbers it used to sell way back in the last decade. Coming back to interiors, the wood trim on steering, dash and door side panels are of good quality. Chrome is used in the right places, giving the interiors it’s luxury feel. The same multilink suspension along with hill-start and hill-descent control are present with the ControlTrac 4WD system. A THX 2 certified 5.1 audio system now comes standard. Overall there are many valuable features that are now standard, making the interior space higher on standards and better on the wallet.

2015 Lincoln Navigator is powered by EcoBoost V6 engine that makes 380 hp and 460 lb-ft torque. There is an option to go for rear or front wheel drive and between the 4X4 or 4X2 drive system.
