2015 Toyota 4Runner Exterior changes
The 2015 Toyota 4Runner exteriors are to get some cosmetic changes like changes to the headlamps, with possible new LED inserts, while retaining the projector lamps. Bumper and minor grille updates along with touches to the ORVM design is a possibility. What you can expect is the same bold stance and high clearance as the same body is used for this fifth generation of 4Runner. The new TRD pro package is expected to be updated too with better offroad handling. Changes will be visible across the SR5, trail and limited editions.
2015 Toyota 4Runner interiors & dashboard
Though the interiors should be the same, but you could see a refreshed trim option with more dashboard utlities around the same design. Expect the same Dual zone climate control, Entune audio setup options, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support with a 4-way adjustable front passenger seat. Heated and cooled seats may be available as additional option but is not confirmed yet. Smart Key System with push button start on the limited edition will be available just like the current version. Power rear liftgate window with auto up/down and jam protection, reversing camera with projected path for added convenience will be an option too. Overhead console with Multi-terrain Select, Active Traction Control (A-TRAC), VSCcutoff, locking rear differential and Crawl Control switches are some other features worth a mention. These are the most notable feature amongst a host of others that should make this SUV a worthy buy.
2015 Toyota Engine options & retuning
Toyota Dual VVT-i 4.0 Liter engine performance improvements can be expected on horsepower, torque and fuel economy front, and should come standard in all models. The current engine pushes out a nice 270 hp and 278 ft·lb Torque. the 1GR-FE V6 is a standard Toyota engine powering the FJ Cruiser too. Expect engine updates as they happen across the application range. The engine is mated to a five-speed automatic ECT transmission.
Release date and price of the 2015 Toyota 4Runner
The new 2015 4Runner can be expected from Toyota by end of this quarter, though Toyota may put it off till September this year. The price bracket should be in a ballpark range of $33,000 to $43000. The much awaited 2016 version may also be announced in the New york auto show soon. But these are just speculations and there is no confirmed news as such on this or the future model.

Toyota has put in a lot of good features in this mid sized 4Runner SUV, some of them which are expected to be improved upon are LED taillights with smoked sport trim, Auto on/off projector headlamps, power sun/moon roof, 17-20 inches wheel options, auto running board as an option and the legendary Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS).
