2015 Toyota Corolla chassis, body & exterior redesign:
2015 Toyota Corolla is most awaited of sedans all over the world and for now there are are just rumors apart from the concept vehicle. What is sure is that the new car will be a head turner in it’s segment anywhere on the globe. The lovely looking new grille on the concept may make an appearance on the production model now. These however might just be rumors, with final word coming from the manufacturer (and anything that you might hear on the web before the official news is released on the final product). There will be new wheel options along with paint colors to choose from. The wider paint range on Toyota vehicles will provide the customer with more choice than most competition in this entry level sedan.
Expected front changes to the 2015 Toyota Corolla include new redesigned fog lamp inserts and air dam redesign. New LED headlamps and wrap around LED indicator and corner lamps add a charm to the car. The speedy looking side profile gets edgy ORVMs that have indicators mounted on the covers.(it all started with a Merc!) A happy looking chrome grille that reminds me of the Astra type F i used to drive years ago looks a bit understated on this car.
2015 Toyota Corolla interior features
2015 Toyota Corolla interiors will look futuristic if rumors about it getting them from the concept come true. There are many expected features that we will talk about, but the most notable will be how the shapes come to form on the classy looking “back to the future” dashboard and large rear view mirror. The only thing missing is the seamless full glass roof they could’ve included in the design! The inviting interior look comfortable and carry a lot of features as well.[ad code=5]
There are a host of options and features that depend upon if you choose the Corolla L, the Corolla LE or the S version. you may want to check them out on the Toyota website for the current version. Almost same options and differences will be available with the new 2015 Toyota Corolla as well. The car comes with Bluetooth with hands free, USB port, eight airbags as standard while other features depend upon version. These are: remote less entry, entune audio, auto climate control, eco engine, read spoiler, cruise control, 3.5 inches multi display for audio and navigation and many more.
2015 Toyota Corolla Engine/Transmission
1.8L l4 engine producing 140 HP is eco model of the current 2014 engine that makes 132HP is mated to 4 speed auto/6 speed manual/CVT transmissions. So there are plenty of transmission options, for example a 4 speed auto for the standard buyer, a 6 speed manual for the NFS racing and modification enthusiasts & a CVT for uncle Bob! The 1.8 engine has not too much to offer in terms of power but runs as expected: smooth, low on fuel consumption and maintenance friendly. You are sure to save a lot of gas and cash with this car if you compare to the 2-3L plus engine based vehicles. This might be a small engine for the US, but is considered a gas guzzling large engine in many parts of the world where 1.0 and 1.3 liter engines are quite common for a huge volume of buyers.
2015 Toyota Corolla release date & Price
The car should be priced between the range of US $17,000 – $19,000. Expect it to be launched around July-August period to be ready for delivery in the new holiday season. This is not an official date or price and the car maker is the final judge of that. But we expect this information to be quite close to what should come through.
